Is there a way to delete multiple Tasks at once?

I have sync'd my Palm Treo 650, and have ended up with many duplicate tasks, and events.  The only way to remove them is to go to each individual task and click "Edit" then "Delete".  Anyone know of an easier and less time-consuming way to do this?  Even if I could mark them all as "Completed" so they wouldn't show up in my searches.

Any help would be appreciated.
