Can't build from a Custom Role

I have a custom role that I want to build from, but when I do a Save As it throws an error. After an hour on the phone with the Philippines no resolution came about. NetSuite emailed me this morning and told me to build it from scratch instead of the convenience of building it from my custom role.

I find that they are hiding from the problem and not trying to fix it.

Is this type of thing happening to anyone else?
