Mass Update/Stock Levels

It seems that the only two fields which can't be set during a mass update of inventory items is the Preferred Stock Level and the Reorder Point. Is there any way around this? It's not directly editable either and we have about 1000 of these to sort. The criteria selections are fine but we just can't set a value.
