How do I reset an employees password?

I'm trying to reset an employees password, because the forgot it, but they have 2 netsuite accounts.  I inactivated the 1 & removed access, then I tried to reset the other account & I got the following message:

The password cannot be changed here because the email address is associated with multiple accounts. The user must change their password via the link in the settings portal of the home page.
 
Any suggestions?
