Sales Order Date/Time stamp inconsistency

Hello ,

We are having an issue here that we can't seem to figure out.

All of these time/date stamps are taken from the "System Notes" subtab of each record. Please step through this with me ...
[LIST]
[*](unknown time): A random visitor enters our website, shops, and adds an item into his cart.
[*]01/09/2007 12:40 am: Customer begins to complete checkout (and must register before hand). A customer record is created in Netsuite with the timestamp "01/09/2007 12:40 am" in system notes.
[*]01/09/2007 12:41 am: At this time, the "address" and "phone number" fields are populated with this customers information
[*]01/09/2007 12:43 am: (Still looking at the CUSTOMER record
