Using highlight on saved search view breaks direct list editing

I decided to tweak the view that I use for my tasks.  I color coded the priorities, green, orange and red.  It works and looks pretty except that direct list editing no longer works.  When I try to edit the status field nothing happens and I get a js error (in IE7).  The other fields work fine.

Error: 'FirstChild' is null or not an object.

Any thoughts?
