Large Journal Entries are interferring w/internet connection??

It seems that everytime we do our month end journal entries with over 5 lines or so, we start having connection problems with our internet.  We have a high speed DSL line which also is the conduit for our VOIP phone system.  We don't ever have problems unless we are doing these journal entries....... I know that this all sounds wierd but it has happened too many times to just be coincidental.  It only happens when we are entering a completely new JE - not a memorized JE.

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?  Does anyone have any idea as to why this would be happening??    I'm at a complete loss.  Any feedback would be much appreciated!!
