Can we sort pick tickets?

On our pick tickets, is there a way to sort the items that are listed?  For example, items are located based upon their type of group- similar items are located together.  However, when they print on the pick tickets, they seem random.  This means that the warehouse is backtracking their own paths, if they pull the items in the order listed on the pick ticket. 

Any ideas?
