Yet another bin question

If you have "use bins" checked in an item, and the bins are assigned, then you edit (uncheck) the "use bins" box, clearing the bins- save the item.

Open the item again to edit it, and choose "use bins" Then choose the bin to use- and save the record.

Logically, I would then expect this item to be found in the bin putaway worksheet.  However, I am not seeing it there, and when I go back into the item record, it reflects the bin I assigned, but shows a zero count in that bin. 

Here is my question- where did it go?...  and how can I get it back to putaway in the new bin?
