NS Bug Vs User Support

Shouldn't NS provide a separate Suport line to report bugs and offer FREE immediate Support to users, if needed, to get customers back online? It appears from reading postings, NS only provides support to Gold/Silver customers! As a new user, still in implementing stage, I will appreciate any inputs to help me decide if I should continue with NS or not.
