Listings Just Hanging

Hello,

We seem to have a difficulty with viewing lists. 
The view just says "1 item remaining" Waiting for...." at the bottom of the blank screen.

This is very frustrating, as the administrator can go to the saved search and execute/preview the saved search directly from the menu.  Not from the shortcut or view option of a list view.

This even occurs for something like the employee listing.

Can't repeat the problem outside our office.  Everyone can logg into the system elsewhere and do what they have been doing.  This suddenly started happening last Monday 12th.

Same problem if IE6, IE7, or firefox.
