Bug: XML files being sent through netsuite acquire an undifined unicode character

edited Dec 3, 2019 3:28PM in General 3 comments

All,

If you send an XML file through the support system it will acquire a new character at the begining of the file. This character is breaking the file itself.

Steps to reproduce
Send an XML file through Netsuite
download it and open with notepad
notice the first character is not a legal one.

Fix
Remove that character and re-save, the XML file will then work.

This is a VERY high impact level to us. Our main software is XML driven. This means that everytime the controllers are sent to us we have to manually change the change and then re-save. This is costing man hours and I am not happy about that. Please provide a solution / fix for this.

Howdy, Stranger!
