Associating Activities with an Opportunity
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to associate an activity (phone call, task or event) to an opportunity when the contact is not an employee of the company listed on the opportunity?
On a typical sale for us (real estate lease transaction), there are 4 to 6 contacts from various companies (other brokers, architects, general contractors, etc) that are involved in the transaction. When you try to log a call and fill in the company dropdown, NS filters the "Transaction" dropdown for only transactions related to the customer.
We need to be able to associate these activities with the opportunity but can't come up with a work-around. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
