Reporting Question

How can I combine two reports into one? I want to see how many of each item we have booked on pending approval sales orders compared to how many of those items we have on order. I don't think I can use the Quantity to Order report because none of the items are committed yet. I can make two separate reports, but how can I make this into one report? Thanks.
