subcustomers to jobs in Quantity?

Since I cannot seem to find a way to import jobs in quantity, I am approaching this from the perspective of importing the jobs as subcustomers, then shifting them over to jobs once I get them in.  I clearly see the ability to mass update jobs to subcustomers, but can't find a way to do the reverse. 

Has anyone found a way to do this, or know if it is even possible?

any insight is appreciated.
