On Hand Inventory & Bin Inventory Don't Match
We just implemented the bin management system after a 6/30/07 physical inventory. After all the adjustments were made - everything matched up. The bin inventory and on hand inventory numbers were correct.
The numbers are now different. Our shipping dept. did everything correctly. Here's the problem:
Most of our items are done in eaches - but some of them (take tableware for example) can be done in dozens or eaches.
Let's say we have 100 dozen forks on hand - both in the bin as well as on hand inventory.
We create a sales transaction for 1 dozen forks - and no problem the bin and on hand inventory both read 99
