Client Side Script DLE Issues

edited Dec 3, 2019 3:23PM in General

We would like to customise NS so that when a lead/prospect/customer is given a status of rejected, an extra field (or two) appears asking for reasons as to why, and validating these so they are required. We are able to achieve this using client side script, however the problem arises that this doesn't fire on DLE so that if the L/P/C is rejected from a list no reason is requested.

Is is possible to use client side script on DLE? We have server script that's working on DLE but there's no way of interacting with the user using server side script, is that correct? I can't believe that we're the first to encounter this issue as I believe DLE must be used quite heavily as (in theory) it's really useful functionality?

Howdy, Stranger!
