2007 - editing custom PDF layout

I am going to join the list of noob questions here...

we have just received access to the beta of 2007.0 preceding our august release (still on 11.6 atm) and I thought I'd have a look at the WYSIWYG pdf editor. The problem is, when I alter a custom PDF layout and save it I get the error:

[LIST]This custom layout already exists
[/LIST]



Yes, I know it exists, I am editing it So I saved it with another name and it saved fine. When I then went back in to edit the new one I get the same error...
