Handling Charge Not Calculating On The Fly

Is anyone else having an issue with handling charges not calculating on the fly. We often need to change the price of the handling for our sales orders and when we changed this field prior to 2007 version it instantly showed the new handling charge and total.

Right now we can only get the new total by actually saving the transaction. Something is not working and it applies to all roles on our account.
