CSV Import is broken

Every inventory item product on our web site is in a sub category of "Light Bulbs & Tubes" and we cannot import anything since the 2007.1 update. It seems that according to another post that the csv import function falls over if there is an ampersand in the category.

This is terrible we are now in a position of not being able to update our site.
