Purchase Requests change

The employee center no longer has access to customer records to enter a drop ship address? All employees use the employee center to enter purchase requests for approval. Up until Friday night (after our upgrade to v 2007.1) the employee was able to access customer records in the ship to line so that they could select a drop ship address. This no longer works, and there is not an option when customizing the employee center role to add this back. Why was this taken away? We use this function on a number of our PO's and to suddenly not have
