Error code on web-site order

I have a customer who could not complete a transaction yesterday (:eek: ) because of the following:

Terminal flagged as Inactive in First Data database (code 26)

Does anyone know what this means and how we can fix it ASAP? I've searched help and the users group but I can't find anything.........
