Cash Refund did not update Total Inventory Value / Ave Unit Cost

Scenario:

Sales Order (drop ship)
Item Fulfillment
Cash Sale
[item returned to our location - we will keep on stock]
Cash Refund (created from clicking on REFUND button in related cash sale)

The item now has on the Inventory tab
Quantity On Hand  2  
Quantity Committed  0  
Quantity Available  2  
Quantity Back Ordered     
Quantity On Order     

Total Inventory Value  0.00  
Average Unit Cost  0.00  

Shouldn't the Total Inventory Value have some $?
Shouldn't the Average Unit Cost have some $?

Has anyone else experienced this?
