Filing Cabinet Memory Impact

Hi All

Can anyone confirm for me if the following assumption is correct?

When attaching emails to contact/customer using the Outlook Integration software. Dose not impact in any way the Filing cabinet Memory unless there is an attachment in the email.

If this is not correct! can anyone tell me how much an email impacts the Filing Cabinet memory size?
