Gift Certificate Option won't show up on shopping category list

Hello,

I'm trying to test and activate the gift certificate option. I created a gift certificate item and selected the "Display on Web site" option. I added it to my shop category "Gift Certificates." I went into the "Gift Certificates" category and activated the "Display on Web site" option as well. At this point, it should be showing live. However, it doesn't appear on the list. The shopping categories should be produced dynamically as I add new products and categories.

The gift certificate option is enabled in the accounting preferences.

Any ideas if I am missing a step?
