Page Not Found- Why does it take 5-15 minutes for new pages to show up online?

"Page Not Found" errors.

Why does it take 5 to 15 minutes for new pages and categories to show up online? In some cases it is 10 or 15 minutes.  This is especially annoying when trying to jump back and forth between the front and back end to see if back-end changes are showing properly in the web-store.  This has been happening for about two weeks.

NS suggested that I go to "setup > web site > setup web site" and then click "save".  It didn't help.  I just have to sit on my hands for 10 or 15 minutes.

Has anyone else had this web site behavior lately?
