Age formula stopped working on-line.

I have a formula field that calculates age.  It works just fine on the item record but as of a couple days ago I now get " ERROR: Invalid Expression" online.  It looks bad.

The code has not changed.  The item list cell template hasn't changed either.  What could be wrong?
