Severe issue in IE: system freezes, breaks IE and NetSuite

edited Dec 3, 2019 3:13PM in General 6 comments

We have a situation that I believe could be being caused by a custom script, though there are no indications anywhere of errors. On top of that, the problems is severe in IE but Firefox works as expected - no issues at all.

Case #701463

Browser: Internet Explorer (IE) Note: Firefox does not show this behavior

Action: Enter line items. After a few entries, the entire items list under the sub-tab 'Items' goes blank and the form does not respond to refreshes. Moving to another area within NetSuite is not possible (the entire session is frozen/broken). When you refresh, all script related functions are broken (including NetSuite scripts such as drawing dropdown lists). The form essentially contains blank spaces. Trying to submit/save the form gets "Unexpected Error, the form can not be submitted" error.

Howdy, Stranger!
