Problem with DLE - price changes not being saved

I do most of our price updates using CSV import or DLE. Recently, however, when I use DLE, the changes are not being saved. I have been updating our base price fields - the page appears to "load" as though the changes are being made but when the list is refreshed, the old values return.

(If I edit the item records individually, the changes are saved.)

I created case #704100 for the problem. If anybody else is having issues with this, let me know! My role is Web Development.
