No way to report a defect in customer center

I have tried to report a new defect (case) in the customer center. There is obviously a new form to report.

Unfortunatelly I always get the error message

The field custevent_online_caseform_display_text contained more than the maximum number ( 15 ) of characters allowed.


and all my data entry is lost. I am also not able to report defect in the report defect transaction.
