Inventory System Notes Doesn't Show Vendor Price Changes

I made several changes on a specific inventory item and everything reflects on the system notes tab except the changes I made with the Vendor Purchase Price. This should also reflect on the list, right? Appreciate immediate assistance. Thanks.
