Shopping cart bug

I have a customer that called and said that they clicked "add to cart" and it opened up a blank page that never loaded.  I asked what the URL was (for the blank page) they said it was ....

"www.ourdomain.com/app/site/backend/additemtocart.nl"

I couldn't repeat the problem on my computer. When I add an item to my shopping cart, I get the URL...

"www.ourdomain.com/s.nl?sc=3&whence="

Any ideas?
