Inventory Reallocation

Is there a way to reallocate inventory within Netsuite?

Let’s say Customers 1, 2 and 3 order item A and customer 1 has a later ship date than customers 2 and 3. We cut a PO to cover customer 1 order and try and ship customer 2 and 3 orders, but it appears that we are backordered on item A because Netsuite seams to treat inventory on a first come first served basis.
