IE Auto-fill when entering Sales Orders

Has anybody encountered an issue when changing a quantity on a Sales Order and you select the new quantity from the auto-fill list (as provided by IE not NS), and the extended dollar amount on the Sales Order is not updated?  A message pops up that reads, "The line total amount is not equal to the item price times the quantity.  Is this correct?"

This is an issue we just started noticing after 2008.2.  Short of turning auto-fill in IE off, I'm wondering if there is anything else we can do to resolve this problem.
