BUG - Saved search alert introduction drops line breaks

Bugs bugs bugs, just another day with good ol' NetSuite!

Saved Search Email "Introduction" field drops all line breaks.  Actually it keeps the line breaks, it just ignores them when it sends an email.  My nicely formatted email message is received as a garbled chunk of text.  Great.

I tried using HTML tags which is the workaround to the still active email template bug that carries the same symptoms.

NetSuite:  What in the world is going on?  I've been hearing things are supposed to get better but they are no better, there are just as many bugs as there ever was.  What's the deal?  This is ridiculous!
