Updating isOnline doesn't work

I'm trying to update the "Display in Web Site" property of an item, but it does not update.  I have an item that is currently checked off for displaying on the website, but when I try to take it off, the page refreshes and the checkbox is still checked off.

I've tried this with a few items already and no luck.
