Build Assemblies

Do building assemblies work with matrix items? I enabled the feature, but it does not look like it works with matrix items.

We use matrix items because our products are produced in different sizes. We have 6-7 master materials that go into one finished product. As it is now, we manually go in and deduct the materials for stock. This is time consuming and leaves room for human error.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
