2 list portals?

I'm trying to make a portlet that shows the most recently added prospects and I'm not sure why it's so hard. I already have a recent sales order list, and it seems that I can only have one list portlet at a time on my dashboard? That seems pretty crazy, is there any way I can make 2 list portlets so I can see prospects and transactions on my dash?
