Should global search knock-out another search?
So I've got a search that takes 4+ minutes to run. While it's sitting there doing it's thing I type a global search with the intention of opening the suggested result in a new tab. As soon as the "search ahead" starts to search it knocks out my long running search.
This shouldn't happen. I assume NetSuite has the heavy handed "one search at a time" limit to prevent someone like me from running a mega complex search on 30 tabs and bringing servers to their knees. Fine, I get that. But a global search should operate independent of this restriction in my opinion.
