Set User Preferences - doesn't hold value by role
Historically whenever you would do Home/Set Preferences any settings you put in were specific to that role. If you had multiple roles and switched to another you could define a different set of user preferences.
Recently, however, the settings you make are pushed out to all of your roles. While in some respects this makes it easier (ie, display preferences, etc.) we've lost the ability to have a custom signature by role. For example, under one role we were able to have the user's signature be:
John Doe
VP Techincal Support
123-456-7890
and the same user under another role could have a signature of:
