nlapiEscapeXML Bug

Hello There,

I just recently stumbled upon a bug using the nlapiEscapeXML library function. It escapes the first quote but not the second quote. Is there any work arounds for this?

ex. nlapiEscapeXML('this is a "test"')

                    output > this is a "test"

ex. 2 nlapiEscapeXML('" "')

                    output > " "
