Unexpected Error When Trying to Edit Shipping Item

Anyone else getting an "Unexpected Error" when trying to either edit or create a new shipping item?  As luck would have it, we were offering free shipping on orders $50 or more that should have expired today.  Now that we are getting this error, the free shipping offer is locked in place and cannot be removed :-(.

Case #940279 has been filed with no response yet.  If anyone knows of a workaround, please share your find.
