Check Out Abandonment Issues

Is anyone else having issues with Check Out Abandonment percentages climbing in the afternoon?

We have been tracking this metric for quite some time and our average runs about 6-7% consistantly. Since we upgraded we have noticed more website errors and we are running about 9-13% daily with the spike coming only in the late afternoon.

Does anyone have any known defects that could be causing this?
