Problem adding credit cards with same number
Hello Everyone and Netsuite monitors,
I have run into a bit of a problem with credit cards.
Background:
-We store all credit card information for 3rd party processing under the financial tab within the customer record. We capture number, exp, name on card, card type, etc.
Problem:
-Just recently it came up that we cannot enter the same card number twice. This is a problem. Some people in the world have the same credit card account number, but listed in different names, and perhaps a different security number listed on the back.
I made a support case which turned into an 'ENHANCEMENT' request, even though this is a DEFECT. I got notified today that it is now closed stating this is working as designed.
