Systems Notes Disappeared from Sandbox

Folks,

The history of system notes on sandbox have been removed. We pay for a service that is supposed to mirror production so we can develop key features and we use these notes to determine where transactions are faulty so we can improve our bus process.

I don't want to have to jump to production to create searches so I can retrieve this information.

Can anyone at Netsuite tell me the logic for deleting the system notes?
