Sales order unexpected error...

The transaction was entered successfully, but the following error occurred while sending the transaction email: An unexpected error occurred while sending the transaction email

This seems to happen every time I try to raise an order manually. We have had this system for over a year and it has just started this weekend so has someone changed something?
