Newbie: Unable to Print Invoices

I am not able to print invoices.  I can create and edit them, but when i try to either print or email the invoice i receive the "An unexpected error has occurred...." error.
I have tried both standard invoice and a custom invoice.  I am probably missing some required field, but i cant get it to work.

Ideas?
