Outlook Connector makes Public Events Private?

We have had an issue with NetSuite Outlook Connector 2.0 making events Private in NetSuite (meaning that only the user who sync'd can see them in NS- very bad for events that multiple employees are attending, as it seems like the event is cancelled to every other employee).
Has anyone else had this issue?
