Hide reports in global search

Hi,

I can't find a way to hide reports that are private. When for instance a sales rep creates a custom report that only shows his sales forecast. I don't want every user to have that report show up in global search.
For saved searches you need to check the "public" checkbox for the search to show up in global search. The same should be applied to saved reports

anyone got any tips?
