Sales error - never seen this one before

Hi,

This is the first time I have seen this error.
Our sales rep in the company is trying to access a customer-lead record I created and she is getting the following error:

'this customer or lead does not belong to your group.'

What does this mean????

I have checked the following setting:
Note: Setup > Sales > Sales preferences
Standard Sales Roles = Unrestricted.

Any idea what the above error message means?

(I have checked Help - nothing!)

Dont want to log a case yet....
